Other projects he has worked on include supporting Peru’s largest private sector actor, illustrate the value and opportunity of entering rural and small-town markets – or Next Frontier markets – to their board. Juan also supported the design of the strategic plan for the Mobile Hub, an $80 million initiative that seeks to build a more inclusive digital economy across five focus areas: Data, Digital Infrastructure, Technology, tools, services and platforms, Policy and Knowledge. Juan Pablo’s recent commitments to Dalberg include supporting the UK Space Agency’s International Partnership Space Programme (IPSP) assess potential opportunities in Brazil for mobile satellite services (MSS) with high social impact potential and economic viable across different sector such as agriculture, education, logistic and tracking, health, deforestation, banking and utilities. He has specialized in the sectors of humanitarian assistance, science, technology and innovation, private sector development, education, agriculture and energy, where he has carried out tasks that include sector diagnosis, benchmarking exercises, analysis of best practices, operational modeling and financial scenario analysis, strategic planning, social impact assessment and short/medium term action plans. Juan Pablo is an Associate Partner and leads Dalberg’s presence in Colombia.
